That you don't count your friends on a sunny day
When the world is bright and beautiful
and there's a song in your heart.
You wait for the storm
when the clouds are datk
and threatening.
And you think that you will never smile again
And if someone is still beside you
despite the thunder,
the cold and the torrents
that person is a friend.


You have weathered so many storms with me
Heedless of your own comfort
You have stayed through the bluster, the thunder
and the downpour of my emotions
And you have proven
that you are indeed,
the best friend that I could have.
