Mini Driving

Going, Going, Gone!

Driving Mini Horses

Have you tried driving mini horses yet?

Driving mini horses is so much fun that I am almost at loss to describe it.

You don't have the same closeness to the horse as when you are in the saddle, but you can develop an even stronger communication link through a light touch on the reins.

I am still learning how to drive properly. Princess is trained to drive, and I will be training the others and putting up photos as they learn.

Princess

Wanted!

Used Mini Harness--Size A or B

I need a good used mini harness, size A or B. I would be wiling to pay cash, or trade for web design work or graphic work. Please email me if you have one and would be interested.

Training Cart

I am always looking  for used training carts  for A or B size mini horses and perhaps a harness that are for sale at a low price or perhaps for trade for web design work and free hosting. Please email me if you have one and would be interested. Part of my goal at this little ranch is to get special needs kids involved with the little horses and driving them. So, this is not urgent, but eventually, I will need more carts.

Do You Have Photos?

If you have a favorite photo that captures the spirit of driving, please send it. I will post the best photos with a photo credit a link back to your ranch web site. (After sending a photo, please check back from time to time. I try to put up as many as I can, but during the school year, sometimes I'm a bit slow at it. If you see your picture, and there's no link, email me and I'll add it.)

Kids and Minis!

Lisa sent this picture of her children in a cart pulled by Oak Glens Morning Dove, a mini she trained at her ranch, Countryside Mini Farm. Daughter Kristen is 2 1/2 and Mikala is 5.

Showing Minis!

Jaye, from Regency Performance Miniatures, sent in this picture of his pinto, Dale, doing his dressage test.  I'm still waiting to see if Jaye sends in a picture of the mini drill team! That sounds like something to see!

Here's the buggy that Ray built for his wife. This looks nice!

Lisa has a couple of nice rigs for her sweet little chestnut horse.

I'm collecting driving links. If you know of one I should put here, or want to trade links with me and have me add yours here, email me!
